PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SERVICE. BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO THIS AGREEMENT.

 

Terms and Definitions

 

  • Services - a set of hardware and software tools that allow for payment acceptance, receiving bonuses, and conducting analytics on credited and debited bonuses, discount sizes, and other incentives.
  • “Foundation2U” - a service that is the intellectual property of the Limited Liability Partnership “Foundation2U”.
  • Account – a part of the “Foundation2U” service system intended for a specific User, where payments and bonuses are recorded.
  • User – an individual who is the direct purchaser of goods/works/services via the “Foundation2U” service.
  • Bonus – a portion of the User’s payment saved during purchases in the “Foundation2U” service. One bonus is equal to one tenge (1 Bonus = 1 tenge) and is intended to be used as payment for future purchases.

 

Foundation2U Privacy Policy

 

Our Privacy Policy describes the data handling procedures we apply, as well as the types of information we process to provide our Services.

For example, our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how it affects you. It also clarifies the measures we take to protect the confidentiality of your data. For example, our Services are designed so that we do not retain your data, and so that you can choose which partners you would like to receive bonuses from.

 

Information We Collect

 

Foundation2U needs to obtain or collect certain information to operate, provide, improve, analyze, personalize, support, and promote our Services, including when you install and use our Services and access them.

The types of information we receive and collect depend on how you use our Services. To provide our Services, we require certain information. Without it, we cannot provide you with our Services. For example, to create an account and use our Services, you must provide your mobile phone number.

Our Services offer additional features. If you use them, we must collect additional information to provide those features. You will be notified of this collection in relevant cases. If you choose not to provide the information required for a feature, you will not be able to use that feature. For example, if you do not allow us to sync contacts from your device, you will not be able to access your contacts’ activity in the Foundation2U app. You can manage permissions before using the Friends Activity feature.

 

Information You Provide

 

  • Account Information. To create a Foundation2U account, you must provide your mobile phone number. If you do not provide this information, you cannot create an account to use our Services. If you do not provide your phone number, you may simply access Foundation2U for informational purposes, but will not be able to use the app’s full features, such as receiving/spending bonuses. You may add additional information to your account, such as a profile photo and details.
  • Your Contacts. You can use the contact upload feature and, if permitted by applicable law, regularly provide us with phone numbers stored in your address book, including phone numbers of users of our Services and other contacts. If your contacts do not yet use our Services, we process this information in a way that prevents us from identifying them.

 

Contact Upload

 

  • Contact upload is an additional feature that allows us to determine which contacts from your device’s address book also use Foundation2U, so that we can prioritize them in your friends list in Foundation2U and quickly update it when someone from your address book registers with Foundation2U. It should be noted that Foundation2U does not share your contacts anywhere. The Foundation2U app on your device displays contact names as they are saved in your device's address book, which makes communication easier.
  • If you choose to use the "Friends Activity" feature and grant Foundation2U access to your device’s address book, Foundation2U will regularly upload phone numbers of Foundation2U users and other contacts from your address book. If some of your contacts do not use Foundation2U yet, they will be added to your friends list but shown in gray. You may send these contacts a message inviting them to join the Foundation2U app. We do not store phone numbers and only process them briefly.
  • Transaction and Payment Data. If you use our payment-related Services, we process additional information about you, including transaction information: card number and type, and transaction amount.
  • Communicating with Support. When contacting our support service or otherwise reaching out to us, you may provide us with information related to your use of our Services. You can send us information in Support regarding the application or other issues.

 

Automatically Collected Information

 

  • Usage Data. We collect information about your actions when using our Services, such as information about when you registered as a user of our Services; which features you use (for example, with which of our partners you received Bonuses or Rewards, Friends Activity, payments, profile photo and details); when you last used our Services; and when you last updated your information.
  • Device and Internet Connection Information. We collect information about your device and internet connection when you install or use our Services, or access them. This includes information such as your phone model, operating system information, app version, phone number, local phone language, and IP address.
  • Location Information. We collect and use accurate location information from your device, with your permission, in order to offer you services/products from Partners near you.

 

Information from Third Parties

 

  • Information Provided About You. We receive information about you from other users. For example, when your acquaintances use our Services, they may provide us with your phone number, name, and other information (for example, stored in their mobile phone address book), just as you may provide information about them. They may also see your activity in the app. We require each of these users to obtain legal rights to collect, use, and transfer your data before providing us with any of your information.
  • Foundation2U Partners. Companies that are our partners and from whom you receive bonuses for purchases may provide us with information about their interactions with you. For example, when and for what amount you made a transaction and how many bonuses and rewards you received. We require companies to comply with applicable law when providing us with any information.


How We Use Information

 

We use the information we have (taking into account your settings and applicable law) to ensure the operation of our Services, as well as to provide, improve, analyze, personalize, support, and promote them. We use information in the following ways:

  • Our Services. We use the information we have to operate and provide our Services, including customer support, purchases or transactions; to improve and personalize our Services and to fix problems;
  • Security, Safety, and Integrity. Security, safety, and integrity are integral features of our Services.
  • Interaction with Partners. We provide you and third parties, such as companies, with the ability to communicate and interact through our services, for example, a Partner Page and Online Menu, through which you can search for goods and services. Companies may send you push notifications about bonuses, products, and company news, as well as marketing materials. For example, you may receive information about earning a bonus by completing a company survey or learning that our partner is crediting a birthday bonus. You may receive push notifications from companies with offers that might be of interest to you.

 

Information Shared by You and Foundation2U

 

You share your information when using our Services, and we share your information to ensure the operation of our Services, to provide, improve, analyze, personalize, support, and promote them.

  • Partners in Foundation2U. We provide companies with special services, such as transaction statistics, accumulated bonuses, customer segmentation, etc.

 

Assignment, Change of Owner, and Transfer

 

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, we will provide your information to successors or new owners associated with the transaction in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

 

Managing and Storing Your Information

 

We retain information for as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, including to provide our Services or for other legitimate purposes such as fulfilling legal obligations, enforcing our Terms, preventing violations, and protecting our rights, property, and users. The retention period is determined individually, depending on factors such as the nature of the information, the purpose of its collection and processing, and relevant legal or operational storage needs, as well as legal obligations.

 

Changes to Our Policy

 

We may make changes and additions to our Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy as they are made and will change the “Last Modified Date” indicated at the top of this document. Please review our Privacy Policy periodically.
