"The world is open to those who know the way. Today, those who are competitive are the ones studying where the best practices are formed – in top universities abroad. The cost barrier is a myth: every year, hundreds of thousands of grants are awarded for the tuition and living expenses of international students! These are available to students from Kazakhstan—all that's needed is a strategy, meeting deadlines, and completing a Foundation program. The road is made by walking it—Foundation2U shows the way!"

  • How is Foundation2U different from courses offered by commercial agencies?

Foundation2U is an official academic program designed to prepare students for admission to foreign universities, created at Esil University.

Unlike short-term courses and online tutors, we offer a comprehensive one-year program with academic subjects, IELTS preparation, and university application support.

  • Learning Online or In Person?

Foundation2U is an in-person program. All classes are held on site at the Esil University campus in Astana or Almaty. It offers a full academic experience: classrooms, instructors, schedules, and a true university environment.

  • What happens if the student or their parents change their mind about studying abroad?

    • The Foundation2U program is unique in that it is a full-fledged first year of the Digital Business bachelor's degree program (this is the "1+3" model).
    • The second part of this program is the three-year Core Degree Studies module, in which students who do not go abroad in 2026 will study professional disciplines in digital economics and business.
    • There is also an option to go abroad for studies in 2027. In this case, you will have completed two full years in Kazakhstan and the period of study abroad will be reduced to two years (this is the "2+2" model).
    • We can also offer the following options:
      • We will transfer all accumulated ECTS credits to the full-time bachelor's program at Esil University, allowing immediate entry to the 2nd year + an international diploma supplement (Diploma Supplement).
      • We provide an academic certificate and a transcript in the ECTS format, so that any accredited university in Kazakhstan can accept you into the 2nd year.
      • You will retain access to the online platform and to your mentor for an additional 1 year—until you re-enroll the following year.
  • Is there a dormitory for students from other cities?

Yes. We provide comfortable dormitory accommodation in Astana and Almaty for non-resident students. For more details, please contact us using the "Contact Us" button.

  • Do you prepare students for the IELTS, and where is the exam held?

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an international exam and a certificate confirming proficiency in English, which is required for admission to universities in the UK, Europe, the USA, the UAE, and other countries.

The goal of the program is to bring students to the level of IELTS 6.0-6.5 and above. We independently organize the IELTS exam and guide you to the desired result—no need for registration, no worries.

  • What if our English level is weak?

Over the course of 9 months, the student thoroughly studies English and is guaranteed to improve their proficiency level.

General English and preparation for the IELTS Academic exam are integrated into the curriculum by modules:
    🔹Listening
    🔹Reading
    🔹Writing
    🔹Speaking

  • Who teaches in the program?

All payments are made through an official contract with Esil University.

The tuition fee is $500 per month, available in installments over 10 months.
